The residence is on a sloping site with a monsoon rivulet passing from its center in the outskirts of Udaipur. The design idea was to create a building crossing this rivulet and against the natural slope to create an extremely animated engagement with the landscape. Towards the entrance the walls are barren with minimum openings whereas on the other side the house opens up to the immediate landscape and the horizon beyond.
