Located in the gamtal area of Anand, Pandya haveli is a 200 year old temple haveli which has been the residence of the Pandya family for generations. The project dealt with the task of conserving and restoring the haveli. Throughout the years, the haveli had seen many interventions, some compatible and some incompatible. The haveli was found in a state of disrepair and in dire need of a structural retro-fit. The project was initiated phase wise where the first phase dealt with making the structure, stable and safe and the consecutive phases dealt with sevices and finishings respectively. The architectural inteventions in this heritage haveli have been done keeping in mind its original structure and form, all the while making it immune to environmental damages and hereby prolonging its life.
